Ishan Kumar

Ishan Kumar has extensive work experience in the retail and e-commerce industry. Ishan is currently working at BEWAKOOF® as the AVP and Head of Planning & Pricing. Prior to that, they held the position of Director and BU Head - Fashion + Non Fashion (External brands business) at BEWAKOOF®. Ishan was also the Director and BU Head - Fashion (External brands business) at BEWAKOOF®, where they headed the apparel, footwear, and accessories business for external brands and was a founding team member of Bewakoof Marketplace.

Before joining BEWAKOOF®, Ishan worked at AJIO.com as the Chief Manager & Head - JIT Marketplace. Ishan also served as the Senior Category Manager for Myntra + Jabong at Myntra Jabong. Prior to that, they were the Category Manager for Myntra.

Ishan has experience in merchandising and buying roles as well. Ishan worked at Shoppers Stop as the Merchandise Manager and Deputy Manager - Merchandising. Ishan was also a Buyer at Babyoye.com. Additionally, they worked as a Merchandiser at Globus Stores Pvt Ltd.

Early in their career, Ishan worked as a Production Merchandiser at Anika Apparels Pvt Ltd, where they handled the production of high-end womenswear garments and was responsible for setting up a new plant. Ishan also gained experience as a Project Trainee at Arvind Mills Ltd.

Ishan's professional journey started with an internship as a Management Trainee at Texport Syndicate India Ltd, where they learned the core garment production process and merchandising. Ishan also completed a management trainee program at Aarvee Denims & Exports Ltd.

Ishan Kumar completed their education at two different institutions. From 1998 to 2005, they attended Puranchandra Vidyaniketan, where they pursued a Science field of study and obtained their 10+2 degree. Following that, from 2006 to 2010, they attended the National Institute of Fashion Technology in India, where they specialized in Apparel production and information technology and received a B.F-Tech degree.
