Samata Ballal

Samata Ballal has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Samata is currently working as the Chief People Officer at Bewakoof.com since March 2022. Prior to that, they held multiple roles at MediBuddy, including Sr. Vice President & Head- People and Culture from April 2021 to March 2022, and Vice President & Head - People & Culture from March 2017 to March 2021. Samata also worked at Medi Assist as the Vice President & Head - People Practice from March 2017 to March 2020. Before Medi Assist, Samata worked at Unisys as a Sr. Manager HR from July 2014 to March 2017, and at Symphony Teleca as a Sr. Manager - Human Resources from May 2011 to July 2014. Samata started their career at Infosys Technologies Ltd as a Sr. Associate Lead - Business Partner from March 2010 to May 2011. Samata also has experience working at HCL Technologies as an Asst. Manager - Human Resources from October 2009 to February 2010 and as a Sr. Executive from January 2007 to November 2009. Samata worked as an HR Generalist at Fischer Consulting from May 2006 to December 2006, and as an HR Executive and Management Trainee at Siemens VDO from January 2005 to March 2006.

Samata Ballal completed an MBA in Management from Jain Group of Institutions from 2003 to 2005. In 2020, Samata attended the Tata Institute of Social Sciences for a Corporate Leadership Program.
