Weiming Soh

Weiming Soh has a diverse work experience in the automotive industry. Weiming began their career at Volkswagen AG in 2009, where they held various roles including Generalbevollmaechtigter der Volkswagen AG and President of Commercial Operations, Asia Pacific. In 2017, they founded Volkswagen Mobvoi Information Technology Co. Ltd. and served as its Founder and Chairman. Weiming also held positions at JAC Volkswagen, VTT Internet Information Service Co. Ltd, Shouqi Zhixing Technology Co. Ltd, and Mobility Asia Technology Company, where they served as a member of the Board of Directors. In 2019, they became the Chairman of the Board of Directors at CAMS New Energy Technology Co. Limited. More recently, they became the CEO of Renault China and the Founder and Chairman of BeyonCa in 2021. Their extensive experience showcases their leadership and expertise in the automotive industry.

Weiming Soh completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a specialization in Finance in 1992. In 1993, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Strategic Management. Weiming further pursued their education and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 1994. In 1997, they attended Penn State University for Executive Education. In 2003, they participated in an Executive Education program at IMD. The following year, in 2004, they attended INSEAD for another Executive Education program. In 2007, they completed an Executive Education program at Harvard Business School. In 2014, 2017, and 2018, they further enhanced their knowledge and skills by attending Executive Education programs at Harvard Business School and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
