Beyond Dementia Coalition is a 501(c)(3) based in Gainesville, Georgia, and serving all of Northeast Georgia. We aim to close the growing preparedness gap resulting from the dramatic increase in dementia diagnoses that will persist for generations. Our strategic plan emphasizes (1) awareness programs to increase general public knowledge about signs and symptoms, diagnostic considerations, lifestyle interventions, and resources for care and (2) education programs to enhance the well-being of caregivers and persons with dementia through symptom interpretation and engagement skill-building.
