Ralf Usinger

Ralf Usinger is a seasoned aerospace engineer with extensive experience in engineering applications and satellite structures. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Engineering Applications at Beyond Gravity, Usinger manages a global competence center, overseeing standardization, project management, and IT service quality. Previously, a Lead Engineer at RUAG Space for nearly 24 years, Usinger led various roles including managing innovation and industrialization efforts, overseeing engineering & development, and directing systems engineering projects for high-profile clients such as ESA and Thales Alenia Space. With a robust academic background in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Stuttgart, Usinger has also contributed to research in finite element methods and composite materials at ETH Zurich.
