Misty A.

Misty A. has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Misty is currently working as a Backend Engineer at Beyond Identity since 2021. Prior to that, Misty worked at Blackfynn where they held multiple roles, including Lead Software Engineer, Senior Engineer, and Full Stack Engineer from 2017 to 2021. Before joining Blackfynn, Misty worked at Epic as part of the Technical Services team. In this role, they guided operational leaders and clinicians in implementing and optimizing the EpicCare Ambulatory application, managed the implementation of analytics and reporting tools, and collaborated with software engineers to identify and address software functional gaps. Misty also has research experience, having worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Case Western Reserve University and Kensey Nash Corporation in the field of biomedical engineering.

Misty A. has a Master's Degree in Computer Science, which they obtained from the University of Chicago between 2016 and 2017. Prior to that, they earned a BSE in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, where they studied from 2006 to 2011.
