Dara Afraz

Dara Afraz has a diverse work experience in the field of product design, front-end development, and technology advisory. They are currently working as a Product Design Lead at Beyond Limits, starting in December 2022.

Prior to this, Dara was associated with Insight Learning Technology, Inc. from September 2013 to December 2022. During their tenure, they held multiple roles including Sr. Product Designer, Project Lead, and Front-End Developer. They also worked as a Product Designer and Front-End Developer from September 2016 to January 2017.

From September 2013 to August 2022, Dara worked as a Programmer Analyst at UCLA Psychology Department's Human Perception Lab.

Dara co-founded Be Fit Biz in September 2018, where they served as a Design and Technology Advisor until December 2020.

In addition, Dara has worked at various other organizations including Tilofy - A Trend Forecasting Company as a Product Designer and CSS Developer from October 2014 to October 2015, Use All Five as a Design Strategy member from June 2013 to September 2013, and UCLA Arts as a Dean's Office Visual Designer from November 2012 to June 2013.

Dara also gained work experience as a Design & Technology Technician at the University of California, Los Angeles from June 2011 to June 2013.

Furthermore, Dara worked as an Independent Designer-Developer from 2002 to 2008.

Dara Afraz obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Design Media Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles. Additionally, Dara has a certification in Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design from Coursera, although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are unknown.
