Laxmi Garde

Laxmi Garde has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Laxmi started their career as a Trainee Software Engineer at HSBC in July 2017 and worked on various projects related to Big Data, Data Analytics, and Mobile Training. During their time at HSBC, they also gained valuable experience in the banking domain and its supporting technology ecosystems.

In March 2018, Laxmi was promoted to the role of Software Engineer at HSBC. In this position, they played a key role in developing a production-grade integration framework supporting 300 business use cases from scratch. Laxmi utilized technologies such as Java, Spring, Apache Camel, CXF, REST, SOAP, MQ, and J2EE EIP implementations.

In March 2020, Laxmi was further promoted to the role of Senior Software Engineer at HSBC. Here, they were responsible for building secure APIs and Microservices using Java, Spring Boot, ActiveMQ, OAuth2, and OpenAM. Laxmi also composed and delivered complex integration modules and batch components using automation tools and solutions.

In 2016, Laxmi had an internship with IBM India as a Project Intern, where they focused on Data Security in IoT Devices using Key Lifecycle Management and IBM Bluemix. Laxmi'swork resulted in a research paper being published.

Most recently, Laxmi Garde joined Beyond Limits as a Software Engineering Intern in June 2022.

Laxmi Garde has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, which they obtained from 2021 to 2023. Previously, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science at MKSSS Cummins College of Engineering for Women from 2013 to 2017. Before their undergraduate studies, Laxmi attended Dr. Kalmadi Shamarao Junior College Pune from 2011 to 2013, and Modern School Nagpur from 1999 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Laxmi has obtained several certifications. In December 2020, they completed the "Java Programming Masterclass for Software Developers" from Udemy. In November 2020, they also completed the "Flutter & Firebase: Build a Complete App for iOS & Android" course from Udemy. In September 2019, Laxmi obtained certifications in "Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals," "Serverless Machine Learning with Tensorflow on Google Cloud Platform," and "Essential Google Cloud Infrastructure" from Coursera.
