Meghan Sharp

Meghan Sharp, PhD MBA, currently serves as the Global Head at Decarbonization Partners, a joint venture of BlackRock and Temasek, beginning in February 2022. Additionally, Meghan holds the position of Global Head of BP Ventures at bp, leading the corporate venture capital team and overseeing substantial investments aimed at advancing new businesses towards net-zero initiatives, with over $800 million allocated across more than 60 portfolio companies. Since 2017, Meghan has been involved with Beyond Limits as both a Chief Operating Officer and a member of the Board of Directors, focusing on business operations for this innovative artificial intelligence company. Meghan's academic credentials include a PhD in Microbial and Eukaryotic Genetics from the University of California, San Francisco, post-doctoral studies in Plant Genetics from Stanford University and the University of Chicago, and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
