Beyond Marketing was founded in 2013 by James La Barrie. James melds his approach of marketing and delivering elite service together as one. James has injected his 'service marketing' approach throughout his career to transform companies from good to great.

The expression, "It's not our job to please the customer....it's our job to amaze them!" is at the cornerstone of his approach. Understanding that in today's modern age of technology, every customer is now a critic with the power of influencing a company's image with a few keystrokes of a smartphone. There has never been a time where the emphasis on 'wowing' the customer is greater than it is today.

The approach is to begin internally by establishing a service culture focused on amazing the customer. Once these systems are established then an external marketing plan is developed and executed to draw in new customers who will be amazed by the service which leads to strong word of mouth marketing and customer retention.
