Ben van Looij

Ben Van Looij is an accomplished sales professional with extensive experience in the food and beverage industry. Currently serving as Sales Director EMEA at Beyond Meat since February 2023, Ben focuses on promoting plant-based meats. Prior to this, Ben held the position of Senior Director, Major Accounts - EU at Apeel Sciences from May 2020 to January 2023, where efforts were made to reduce food waste through innovative solutions. Additional roles include Sales Consultant at Stichting Voedselbanken Nederland and Commercial Director at Snack Connection B.V. - Choco Support B.V. from December 2017 to December 2019. Ben also served as Managing Director at Intertaste Finished Products for nearly a decade and held various positions at British American Tobacco for 15 years, culminating as Head of Trade Marketing & Distribution. Ben holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Inholland University of Applied Sciences and has further qualifications in Marketing.
