Marcel Wanders

Marcel Wanders is a seasoned engineering and project management professional with extensive experience across multiple industries. Currently serving as Sr. Manager Engineering & Projects Europe at Beyond Meat since November 2020, Marcel previously held the position of Technisch directeur at MapXact from January 2016 to August 2020, where responsibilities included managing a team of 50 and leading the development of innovative ground radar systems. Prior to that, Marcel was the Manager Projectmanagement at Cabot Corporation from December 2009 to December 2016, overseeing the engineering and execution of large-scale projects in the chemical industry, along with reporting to the Board of Directors. Marcel's career began at Norit Procestechnologie BV as Projectmanager, managing significant projects in the food industry. Marcel holds education credentials in project management (Prince2), business administration from Hoge School Enschede, and mechanical engineering from Hengelo.
