I founded two tech startups, served as senior vice president of strategy at Atari, spent 16 years as a partner at McKinsey & Company, and 13 years as a partner at Deloitte leading the global Center for the Edge research hub. My focus has evolved to understanding the psychology and emotions that drive successful change.

MY STORY: In 1980, I was drawn to Silicon Valley by its boundless optimism and the energy of people determined to change the world. The irony? I had never used a computer, never studied technology, and had no background in the field. Friends thought I was crazy to pack up, move across the country, and start a computer company. I ignored the doubts, took the leap, and never looked back. Today, my passion is helping others recognize future opportunities and inspiring them to act on them.
