Michael Sup, Ph. D

Michael Sup, Ph.D. has over 12 years of experience in the field of sports coaching. In 2008, they began their career as an Area Manager at KING'S LYNN TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB LTD. In 2009, they became a Summer Camp Director at Play Soccer USA. In 2010, they were appointed as an Academy Head Coach at Luton Town Football Club. From 2012 to 2015, they served as a Teaching Assistant for the Physical Activity and Wellness Program at Ohio University and from 2015 to 2022, they were an Adjunct Professor at the same university. Michael was also an Assistant Coordinator for the Online Master's Degree in Soccer Coaching from 2013 to 2015. In 2013, they became a Volunter Member Board of Trustees at A Voice of Central Americans (AVOCA). From 2015 to 2022, they were a Co-Founder at Beyond Pulse and a Soccer Schools Youth Coach at Manchester United from 2011 to 2015. In 2022, they became a Consultant at Creating Legacies 17 / Coaches Across Continents.

Michael Sup, Ph. D. began their educational journey at the University of Bedfordshire, where they completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sport Management and Soccer Studies from 2009 to 2012. Michael then attended Ohio University and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Recreation and Sport Sciences and Coaching Education from 2012 to 2013. Finally, they returned to Ohio University and received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D.) in Curriculum and Instruction and Sport & Development from 2015 to 2019.
