Beyond Zero Emissions
Anne Hellstedt is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering, leadership, and sustainability. Currently serving as a Gender Action Plan Advisory Board Member at the Smart Energy Council, Anne aims to enhance women's participation in the smart energy industry. As a Principal Fellow and Program Director at the University of Melbourne, significant advancements in infrastructure planning and development within the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology have been achieved. Moreover, Anne holds the position of Board Chair for the College of Leadership and Management at Engineers Australia, and is a Board Member for Beyond Zero Emissions, promoting climate action. Other roles include Technical Excellence Leader at Mott MacDonald, General Manager of Innovation Precinct & Campus Strategy at ANSTO, and previously, Practice Leader for Applied Research & Sustainability at AECOM. Educational credentials include a PhD in Aerodynamics and a BE (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Melbourne, along with completion of the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
