Joanna McDaniel Burkey has a diverse background in technology and cybersecurity, serving in various leadership roles throughout their career. They began as a Software Engineer at Compaq and progressed to senior positions at companies such as TippingPoint Technologies and Siemens, where they held roles including Global Head of Cyber Defense and CISO for Siemens Americas. Joanna has also acted as an Independent Director at multiple organizations, currently serving in that capacity at CorVel Corporation, Dot Ai, ReliabilityFirst Corporation, and Beyond, Inc. In addition, they provide consulting services through Flat Rock Strategic Advisors, focusing on cybersecurity, AI, and digital transformation. Joanna's leadership has been recognized in their roles as Chief Information Security Officer at HP and as a Women's Global Leadership Fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies.
