Eve Shapiro

Drawing on a decade of experience in higher education and extensive research experience, Eve is dedicated to developing a robust and nuanced understanding of student success and persistence. Eve's previous experience includes teaching and advising at four universities, developing university-based mentorship programs for first-generation students, researching the efficacy of technology-based social and psychological support platforms, and evaluating K-12 tutoring initiatives. Eve received her BA from Indiana University and her MA and PhD in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a focus on social inequalities, psychosocial wellbeing and social change.
