Guadalupe Ortiz

Guadalupe Ortiz is a first year college coach with Beyond 12. She started her college journey at Georgia Highlands College, then transferred to Georgia State University where she received her bachelor's in social work in 2018. While attending college, she co-founded La Mano, an organization that focused on supporting first-generation students through their journey in college. Before becoming a College Coach, she worked as site coordinator for Communities in Schools, where she supported high school students by empowering them to stay in school and helped them with their life goals. Guadalupe has a passion for supporting first-generation students in achieving equal access to higher education and helping them become successful in their post-secondary journey.
