Ian Barrett

Ian Barrett is a first year college coach at Beyond 12. Hailing from Philadelphia, PA, Ian came to Atlanta to attend the prestigious Morehouse College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a concentration in education in 2020. A lifelong learner and proud advocate for historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs), Ian’s passions lie most in helping others “see their best selves” and take on new experiences. While in college, Ian was able to follow his passion by helping organize and execute the AUC Philadelphia Club HBCU High School Tour, a program created to teach Philadelphia high school students about HBCUs. He also mentored students on campus and volunteered at elementary schools in the metro-Atlanta community area. Still looking to be an active participant in his community, Ian is a current member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., the Urban League of Greater Atlanta Young Professionals, and Toastmasters International.
