John Lithio

John Lithio is a data scientist at Beyond 12. Previously, he worked to improve K-12 student outcomes as a data scientist with the New York City Department of Education, where he developed a passion for improving equity in society through education. John also has experience in the finance industry and received a master's degree in analytics from Georgia Tech and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Hope College. He is dedicated to applying his technical skills as a data scientist to improving educational outcomes for first-generation and low-income students at scale.
