Tyra, a Houston native, works as a content strategy analyst in Oakland, CA. She graduated from Texas A&M University in 2015 with a BS in Child Professional Services. Prior to becoming a college coach, Tyra worked as a senior college advisor for College Advising Corps, where she assisted over 1,200 students to successfully apply and enroll in college and financial aid. After being a mentee of the CAC program, she developed a passion to empower students to create their own pathway to success which led her to Beyond 12.
