Yaniv Brener

Yaniv Brener is an associate software engineer with Beyond 12. He made the leap to software after teaching himself to code; previously, he worked as a chemical engineer on projects ranging from predictive analytics to alternative fuels. He earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. As the child of immigrants, Yaniv saw first-hand the difficulty of navigating unfamiliar systems, which led him to volunteer with youth education groups including Junior Achievement and PAIR Houston (Partnership for the Advancement & Immersion of Refugees). He strongly believes in increasing education equity and helping underrepresented students own their journey through the education system.
