Brent Maher

Brent Maher, CISSP, serves as the Vice President of Information Technology at First Student since March 2023, focusing on architecture, data and analytics, cybersecurity, and electric vehicle technology. Additionally, Brent is a Customer Advisory Board Member at BeyondID and has been a Board Member and Girls Assistant Coach at the Franklin Lacrosse Club since February 2019. Previously, Brent held multiple key roles at Johnson Financial Group from May 2007 to March 2023, including Chief Technology Officer, Chief Information Security Officer, and Vice President of Information Security. Brent also founded Maher Business Solutions, LLC, serving as a consultant until March 2023, and was an Adjunct Professor at Carnegie Mellon University from June 2019 to August 2021 in cybersecurity certificate programs. Brent has contributed to the cybersecurity community as a public speaker at various events and holds a Microdegree in Chief Information Security Officer from Carnegie Mellon University, along with a BBA in Management of Information Systems from the Lubar College of Business.
