Alan Patterson

Alan Patterson is the Co-Founder and CEO of BeyondMath, a company focused on developing a Foundational AI Model of Physics to revolutionize engineering and design since April 2022. Previously, Alan served as VP and Head of Applied Science at HomeX, where innovative technology transformed the home services industry, and as a Senior Director at eBay, leading an AI-focused team in the Structured Data division. Alan's extensive experience includes roles at Google as a Tech Lead specializing in fraud detection, technical leadership at Barclays Capital, and pivotal positions in startups such as Evi Technologies and spider.io, acquired by Amazon and Google, respectively. Alan holds a DPhil in Electronics from the University of York and a 1st Hons degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of the West of Scotland.
