Liang Sun

Liang Sun has extensive work experience in information technology management and support. Liang'smost recent role was as an Information Technology Manager at Beyondsoft, where they provided leadership in planning and organizing the information management systems. Liang led the implementation of ISO27001:2013 and developed an Information Security Management System. Prior to that, Liang was a Senior Manager, Information Technology at FMD K&L, where they provided technical support in infrastructure management, networking, and application system implementation. Liang has also held IT management positions at Wonton Food Inc and Eimskip Asia, where they implemented IT strategies and new systems for Asian offices. Additionally, Liang has experience as a Clinical Informatics Associate, IT Consultant, and intern at various organizations.

Liang Sun completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Sciences from Háskólinn á Akureyri in 2007. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Information Systems from Pace University, which they completed in 2012. In terms of additional certifications, Liang obtained the MCSA: Windows Server 2012 certification from Microsoft in September 2013. In October 2017, they achieved the MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) Cloud Platform and Infrastructure certification. Most recently, in October 2020, Liang obtained the Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging for All certification from LinkedIn. Additionally, in April 2021, they obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification.
