Austin Caver

Austin Caver has a diverse work experience in the field of information security and technology. Austin currently serves as the VP of Information Security at BeyondTrust since January 2024. Prior to this role, they held the position of Director of Information Security from July 2021 to January 2024. Austin also worked as an Information Security Manager at BeyondTrust from July 2020 to June 2021, and as a Senior Security Analyst from February 2019 to July 2020.

Before joining BeyondTrust, Austin worked as a Security Analyst at Bomgar Corporation from April 2017 to February 2019. Austin also gained experience in information security at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi, where they served as an Information Security Specialist from December 2015 to April 2017, and as a Computer Support Technician from August 2014 to December 2015.

Earlier in their career, Austin worked as a Customer Engineer II at NCR Corporation from June 2012 to January 2014.

Austin Caver graduated from Belhaven University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems. In 2009, they also received a certification in Cisco from James H Faulkner State Community College. Austin has additional certifications including Certified Network Defender (CND) obtained in October 2019 and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) obtained in August 2018. Austin also holds a certification called GSEC from SANS Institute, although the specific date of obtaining this certification is unknown.
