Corey Ellis

Corey Ellis has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Corey has held various positions in different companies, starting with their current role as the Director of Strategic Initiatives at BeyondTrust since 2024. Prior to this, Corey worked at Cloud Software Group as a Senior Manager from 2021 to 2024, where they oversaw internal security initiatives and managed a team of security architects. Before that, Corey worked at Deloitte as a Manager from 2015 to 2021, leading cyber transformation projects and risk assessments. Corey also worked as the Vice President/Information Security Officer at C1 Bank from 2013 to 2015 and owned their own consulting firm, Corey Ellis Consulting, from 2001 to 2015. Corey has experience in various roles such as Information Technology Officer, Senior Systems Engineer, and Assistant Network Administrator/Help Desk Administrator in companies like Century Bank & Trust, CompuNet Inc., Century Bank of Georgia, Atlantic Southern Bank, and Gainesville Bank & Trust.

Corey Ellis attended Georgia College & State University from 1998 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Management Information Systems, General. Later, from 2011 to 2013, they attended the Georgia Bankers Association- University of Georgia, focusing on Southern Operations Technology School with Banking Simulation, in the field of Banking and Financial Support Services.
