John Murphy

John Murphy has over 25 years of work experience in various roles related to data management, analytics, and business intelligence. John is currently serving as the VP of Data Management at BeyondTrust, where they are responsible for defining and delivering an enterprise data strategy. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Director at MCIC Vermont, LLC, where they led a team in providing data management and analytics services for multiple functions. John also held positions as a Director at TSYS and Head of Global Data and Analytics at Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health - US. John has extensive experience in building and leading teams, developing data strategies, and delivering valuable insights to drive business impacts. Their expertise spans across industries such as finance, healthcare, and animal health.

John Murphy completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Georgia College & State University. In 2017, they enrolled in emlyon business school and pursued a Mini MBA specializing in Strategy and Entrepreneurship Essentials Program. John also obtained various certifications such as Tableau CRM and Einstein Discovery Consultant from Salesforce in 2022, Apache Hadoop Essentials, Introduction to Big Data, MapR Data Platform Essentials, MapR-DB Essentials from MapR Technologies in 2019, Splunk Certified User from Splunk in 2018, and completed the Big Data and Analytics Program (RapidMiner, R, Splunk, Tableau) at Emory University in 2018.
