Michael Orr is a seasoned software development professional with extensive experience in the tech industry. Currently serving as a Senior Software Development Manager at BeyondTrust since November 2009, Michael oversees a team focused on creating scalable and secure Privileged Account and Session Management products. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions, including Development Manager and Senior Software Developer at Blackbird Group until its acquisition by BeyondTrust in December 2012. Michael's earlier experience includes significant engineering roles at companies such as Quest Software, NetPro, and Opalis Software, complemented by a volunteer commitment as a Field Responder with Halifax Search & Rescue and a Volunteer Lieutenant of Operations with HRM Fire.
