Christopher Brown

Christopher Brown is an experienced professional in climate tech and investment banking, currently serving as the Head of Supply & Investments at Rubicon Carbon since March 2023, leading investments in carbon removal projects. In addition to this role, Christopher is a Venture Partner at Contrarian Ventures, focusing on early-stage climate tech investments. Previous positions include Investor roles at Jumptech and BeZero Carbon, Vice President at Madison Energy, and Vice President at Alexa Capital, specializing in climate and clean tech investment banking. Additionally, Christopher held a commercial leadership role at SSE plc, where responsibility included launching a distributed generation and smart cities business. Christopher's career began at Trafigura in business operations, followed by significant experience at Goldman Sachs in the FICC division. Christopher holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Nottingham.
