Eli Melaas

Lead Remote Sensing Scientist

Eli Melaas is a Remote Sensing Scientist with expertise in remote sensing of vegetation, digital image processing, and land surface modeling, particularly focusing on the phenological effects of climate change. They completed a PhD in Geography and Environmental Science from Boston University in 2014 and have held various roles, including a Postdoctoral Research Associate and Senior Data Scientist at Indigo. In addition, Eli has experience in teaching at both the university level and in K-12 education, as well as collaborating on research projects at Lund University. Currently, Eli serves as the Lead Remote Sensing Scientist at BeZero Carbon.
