George Goodman

George Goodman has a diverse work experience in the field of carbon ratings and research analysis. George currently holds a position as a Senior Carbon Ratings Scientist (Coordinator) at BeZero Carbon since April 2023. Prior to this role, George worked as a Carbon Credit Scientist at the same company starting in November 2022. George also served as a Research Analyst from March 2022 to November 2022 and as a Decarbonisation Analyst from November 2021 to March 2022.

Before joining BeZero Carbon, George worked as a Postgraduate Researcher (Hydrogen Storage) at Aerospace Technology Institute from July 2021 to September 2021.

George's early career includes a role as an Energy Statistician at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) from July 2019 to July 2020.

George Goodman completed their education with a focus on engineering. From the year 2016 to 2021, they attended the University of Bath, where they pursued an MEng (Hons) degree in Chemical Engineering. As part of their course, they also completed a year-long work placement. In 2019, George participated in an Overseas Research Project at The University of Auckland, where they explored the field of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
