James Hickson

James Hickson is a Geospatial Data Engineer currently at BeZero Carbon since June 2025, where the focus is on providing project-level carbon ratings to support climate change initiatives. Previously, James held the same title at Rezatec from January 2023 to June 2025, utilizing satellite data and machine learning for asset monitoring. A Junior Earth Observation Scientist at ARGANS from November 2020 to January 2023, James worked on various Earth Observation projects for clients, including the UK Space Agency and ESA. Education encompasses a Master of Science in Remote Sensing and GIS and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Geography, both from Prifysgol Aberystwyth University, complemented by extensive experience in GIS and Python programming.
