Joel Gould

Joel Gould currently serves as the Markets & Policy Lead at BeZero Carbon, a position held since October 2023. Prior experience includes roles at the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology, where Joel was the Head of R&D Investment Strategy and held several senior policy advisor positions, as well as experience at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs as a Senior Scientific Advisor in air quality. Earlier career experiences include internships at PMSI Strategy LLP and Energise Ltd, along with mentoring roles at KINGDOM EDUCATION Foundation. Joel holds a BA and MSci in Natural Sciences (Chemistry) from the University of Cambridge, an MSc in Economics from Birkbeck, University of London, and completed a MA module in Global Public Policy Challenges at King's College London.
