Riley Wagner

Senior Innovation Manager at BeZero

Riley Wagner has a diverse range of work experience. They have worked at BeZero Carbon since 2020, starting as a Research Associate and later moving into the role of Research Manager. In this position, they have worked with clients in various industries to estimate carbon emissions and provide tailored reduction strategies. They have also gained experience in CDP reporting, SECR reporting, internal auditing, and product life cycle assessments. Additionally, Riley wrote Python code to streamline carbon footprint calculations, significantly reducing computation time.

Prior to BeZero Carbon, Riley was a Fulbright Fellow at Fotovoltaica UFSC in 2022. They also served as a Project Manager at Engineers Without Borders - Princeton University from 2018 to 2019, overseeing projects related to energy and sustainability. They gained technical experience as a Technical Intern at Stiftung Solarenergie Philippines in 2019 and as an Energy Science and Policy Intern at Technische Universität Darmstadt in 2017. In 2015, Riley participated in the Youth Ambassadors Program with Chile and Argentina through World Learning.

Riley Wagner's education history begins in 2012 when they attended Waynesboro High School, where they completed the Advanced Studies High School program. Following this, from 2014 to 2015, they attended Shenandoah Valley Governors School, specializing in Math, Science, and Technology (STEM). In 2015, Riley was an exchange student at Luisenschule in Mülheim an der Ruhr.

In 2016, Riley enrolled at Princeton University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.S.E.) with a focus on Chemical and Biological Engineering in 2020. During their time at Princeton, they participated in various educational programs abroad. In 2018, they attended The College of Global Studies at Arcadia University for a Summer Exchange Program, where they concentrated on an intensive Italian Language and Culture Program.

Additionally, in the same year, Riley participated in a Semester Exchange in Engineering at Universidad de Cantabria. Outside of their formal education, Riley obtained the Engineer In Training certification from NCEES (National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying) in February 2020. Recently, in October 2021, Riley received the Fulbright US Student certification from The Fulbright Program.
