Ronan Carr has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Ronan started their career as a Fund Accountant at Investors Group in 1998. In 1999, they joined Morgan Stanley as an Equity Strategist, where they conducted research on macro trends and their implications for equity strategy in Europe and Emerging EMEA. During their time at Morgan Stanley, they co-managed the European Model Portfolio and developed and maintained stock screening tools and asset allocation models.

In 2015, Ronan joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch as a Strategist, focusing on global cross asset strategy and European equity strategy. Ronan conducted research on global macro trends, asset allocation, sector selection, style investing, and country allocation. Ronan also provided global client coverage, including long-only, hedge funds, and private clients.

Since 2020, Ronan has been working at BeZero Carbon, initially as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Research Officer. Currently, they serve as the Chief Research Officer, responsible for managing the delivery of ratings and risk analytics for the leading voluntary carbon market platform. Ronan leads research teams to improve ratings processes, develops product innovations, promotes the carbon market and climate action, and promotes biodiversity restoration.

Ronan Carr completed their Bachelor of Commerce (International) and French degree at University College Dublin from 1994 to 1998. During this time, they also studied Business & Management and French at KEDGE Business School for the year 1996-1997. Prior to their university education, Ronan attended Colaiste Mhuire in Dublin from 1988 to 1994. Additionally, Ronan has obtained several certifications throughout their career, including a Certificate in Quantitative Finance from the CQF Institute in April 2021, a Certificate in ESG Investing from CFA UK in October 2020, and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from CFA in September 2002.
