Ying Zheng

Dr Ying Zheng has a diverse work experience that spans across various roles and companies. Currently, they are working at BeZero Carbon as a Carbon Ratings Scientist. Prior to this, they worked at the University of Glasgow from 2016 to 2022. Within this role, they served as a Post-doc Researcher on Carbon Cycle and as a Research Associate. Their responsibilities included leading assessments of GHG emissions and carbon fluxes in Asian mega-deltas, conducting literature reviews and data analysis, and communicating scientific findings to stakeholders. Before joining the University of Glasgow, Dr Zheng worked as a Lab Demonstrator at the same university from 2014 to 2015. Additionally, they gained research experience as a Research Assistant at Xiamen University from 2012 to 2013 and as an Intern at Bosch China Investment Ltd. in 2011.

Dr Ying Zheng completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Environmental Science from Hunan University from 2008 to 2012. After that, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physical Geography at the University of Glasgow from 2013 to 2018.
