Mina Magda is currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of Michigan since August 2024 and has held the position of Associate Photographer & Editor at BFA NYC since May 2013. With extensive academic experience, including a Postdoctoral Fellowship at New York University and a Teaching Assistant role at Barnard College during 2023, Mina has also worked as a Copywriter for the Institute for Studies on Latin American Art and as an Assistant to the Chief Communications Officer at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Yale University and earlier degrees from Harvard University and New York University, focusing on Slavic Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics, along with a background in Art History.
