David Swan

David Swan is a Senior Full Stack Developer at BFBS, leading a team in the development of a media server for the EBU 5G emerge project since February 2025. Prior to this, David worked at Sky from August 2017 to January 2025 as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on Wi-Fi MESH integration and embedded firmware development for the SKY Q Support MCU. David's career began at STMicroelectronics as a Field Application Engineer, followed by roles as Applications Support Engineer and Applications Support Graduate, and included an early position as a Hardware Design Engineer at Marconi Aeronautical Division. David's educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Warwick and an HND from Farnborough College of Technology.
