John West

John West is a consultant at BFJ Planning and has been a member of various significant organizations, including the Planning Committee of MAS and the Institute for Rational Urban Mobility, since 2000 and 1997 respectively. Previously, John held the position of Director of Planning at Rockrose Development Corp. from 1983 to 2000 and served as Sr VP for Design at CPC Resources from 2000 to 2007. John also has extensive community involvement as a member of Manhattan Community Board Six and the P&UD committee of AIA, both of which they joined in the 1980s and 1997 respectively. John earned a BA and MFA in Architecture from Princeton University, graduating in 1967.
