Fred Walburn

Fred Walburn serves as the President of BFKW LLC since 2007, leading the development of the Full Sense™ Device, a groundbreaking temporary device designed to promote long-lasting satiety and significant weight loss, potentially transforming obesity treatment by reducing the need for traditional surgical interventions. Prior to their current role, Fred Walburn held positions as a Product Specialist at W. L. Gore and Associates from 1992 to 2007, a Research Engineer at Miami Heart Institute from 1982 to 1992, and an Assistant Staff Investigator at Henry Ford Hospital from 1978 to 1982. Fred Walburn completed multiple degrees, including a BS, MS, and PhD in Engineering Science & Mechanics from Virginia Tech between 1969 and 1978.
