John Bethune

John Bethune is the Managing Vice President and Director of the Ottawa Office at BFL Canada, a position they have held since 2017. Prior to this role, John worked as a Team Leader and Broker at Aon Risk Solutions from 2009 to 2016, where they managed a team of brokers and developed strong relationships within the insurance marketplace. Earlier in their career, John served as a Construction and Pollution Underwriter at ENCON Group Inc. from 2004 to 2009 and began their professional journey as a Commercial Underwriter at Intact from 2002 to 2004. John earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Bishop's University in 2002.
