Mark Thiessen

Mark Thiessen has extensive experience in various roles across multiple industries, including construction, facility development, and risk management. Starting as a Carpenter Apprentice at Pennco Construction from 1990 to 1994, Mark advanced to hold significant positions such as Residential Mechanical Coordinator at Penn-lite Electrical and Mechanical, Senior Manager of Facilities Development and Optimization at HyLife, and Senior Manager of Maintenance & Utilities. Currently, Mark serves as President at Copper Canyon Corporation and a Risk Control Consultant at BFL CANADA, positions held since January 2020 and October 2020, respectively. Mark also has a background in sales from E.G. Penner Building Centres Ltd. and is recognized for completing Green Belt Certification in Lean Manufacturing from the University of Manitoba in 2016.
