BFM & Associates is a dynamic consultancy which aims to contribute to the successes of national and international social interventions by enthusiastically practicing our brand of development research and monitoring & evaluation support. Collectively BFM’s approach is multidisciplinary to ensure the best quality and validated data is collected to eventually assist organisations and programmes in developing and articulating programme theory, designing, installing and reviewing management and monitoring systems and providing formative and summative evaluations that could be used to restructure programmes or determine effectiveness and efficiency thereof.

BFM has a strong foundation in research and M&E and the same principals for doing research and evaluations cut across the different sectors and therefore we work with organisations in various sectors. 

Over the years the team members of BFM has gained extensive knowledge and experience within different sectors such as disability, health, employment, education and entrepreneurship. This experience is from working at organisations in South Africa, Ghana, Namibia, Rwanda and Denmark both on the funding and implementation side as Programme Manager, Organisational Advisors and Evaluators with a focus on capacity building, training, awareness raising, advocacy and lobbying.

- M&E course development and lecturing at Disability Studies, University of Cape Town, South Africa
