Andrew Spencer

Andrew Spencer is currently the head of investments at BF&M. Prior to this, they were the director of finance at Maple Trade Finance from May 2009 to March 2011. Before that, they were the manager of budget and finance at AOL from January 2002 to December 2009. Andrew Spencer started their career as an accountant for reporting and audit at Saint Mary's University from June 2001 to September 2002.

Andrew Spencer has a CFA from the CFA Institute, an FLMI from LOMA (Life Office Management Association), a CMA from the Society of Management Accountants of Nova Scotia, and an MBA in Finance from Saint Mary's University. Andrew also has a BBA in Accounting and Finance from the University of New Brunswick.

Andrew Spencer reports to R. John Wight, Group Chairman & CEO. They are on a team with Jason Cook - Group Head, Personal Risk & Retirement Solutions, Lin Zhou - Chief Accounting Officer, and Victoria Rankin - Group Head, P&C Reinsurance.
