Beth Widmann

Beth Widmann is a Senior Geologist at BGC Engineering Inc., where they manage a large geohazard project team supporting a major gas pipeline operator across over 30 US states. Their work focuses on geologic hazard identification, risk analysis, and mitigation design, contributing to BGC's goal of reducing pipeline incidents by more than 10% by 2025. With nearly 30 years of experience, Beth has held positions at the U.S. Geological Survey and the Colorado Geological Survey, illustrating a strong foundation in geologic mapping and hazard assessment. They earned a Master's degree in Structural Geology from the Colorado School of Mines and a Bachelor's degree from Bates College.
