Chris Slater

Chris Slater is a Senior Geoscientist at BGC Engineering Inc., with over twenty years of experience in diverse near-surface geophysical techniques applied to various projects including geotechnical assessments and archaeological investigations. They previously held positions as Principal Geoscientist at Advisian and Worley, and as a Senior Geoscientist at WorleyParsons. Chris started their career as a Geophysical Technician at Komex Environmental Ltd. and began their geoscience education at the University of Victoria, where they earned a B.Sc. in Geological and Earth Sciences. They have conducted extensive work throughout Canada and on multiple international projects across different continents.
