Joan Roca

Joan Roca possesses extensive experience in applied earth sciences, specializing in geotechnical engineering, hydrogeology, hydrology, geomorphology, and engineering geology. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at BGC Engineering Inc. since October 2012, Joan has previously held significant roles at Hutchison Ports, including Deputy Construction Manager and Deputy Project Manager/Construction Manager, where responsibilities included overseeing the construction of Spain's most advanced port development and managing multiple projects. Earlier experience includes a quality assurance role at Aena during the construction of a highway to Barcelona Airport and a junior internship focused on GIS database development for the L9 subway line. Joan Roca holds a degree in Geotechnical Engineering and a Master's Degree in Engineering Geology from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
