Olina Meaker

Olina Meaker, P.Eng., GIT, is an Intermediate Geological Engineer at BGC Engineering Inc., with experience in managing large geotechnical projects, including the El Llagal Tailings Storage Facility and infrastructure geohazard risk assessments in the Northwest Territories. Prior roles include Junior Geological Engineer for New Gold Inc. and experience in underground mining and oil and gas production, contributing to projects at multiple esteemed organizations. Olina holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geological Engineering from the University of British Columbia and is currently pursuing further education at the Technical University of Denmark. Additionally, leadership roles include serving as Team Lead for the Vancouver Office Compass Team and involvement in recruitment initiatives at the University of British Columbia.
