John Skitt

John Skitt serves as the Group Director of Human Resources for EMEA and APAC at BGC Partners and Cantor Fitzgerald since November 2010, overseeing an HR team of 60 professionals and functioning as a director on multiple boards and committees. Key responsibilities include implementing remuneration policies, leading executive recruitment, and managing HR initiatives across the region. Previously, John held the position of Senior Employment Counsel at BGC, managing high-profile litigation and advising senior executives on employment matters. With prior experience as a Senior Associate at Clifford Chance and an Employment Solicitor at Eversheds, John has extensive expertise in employment law, strategic HR management, and corporate immigration. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Leeds and a Legal Practice Course from The College of Law.
